Overview
The role sits where regulatory commitments become operational decisions. It involves maintaining controls that business teams can apply, coordinating licence-related activity and ensuring that changes in requirements lead to clear action. Audits, reporting and regulator engagement are part of the same remit. The manager needs sufficient gambling-industry knowledge to contribute with limited onboarding and to work independently across linked assignments. B2B experience is especially relevant, with exposure to Spain or Latin American markets useful for the portfolio. The position requires the ability to work from Malta. This includes maintaining regulator relationships and representing the business in relevant industry meetings and forums.
Requirements
- At least three years gambling-industry compliance experience.
- Strong B2B experience; relevant B2C-to-B2B transition may be considered.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree and excellent English.
- Spanish proficiency and Spain/Latin America exposure are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Develop compliance strategy, frameworks, policies and procedures.
- Monitor regulatory changes and maintain licence compliance.
- Coordinate audits and follow remediation through to completion.
- Prepare senior-management and board reporting.
- Manage accurate, timely communications with authorities.
