Overview

Turn day-to-day accounting activity into reliable records and financial reports. This senior role covers the accounts payable and receivable cycle together with the work required to close reporting periods accurately. It requires careful handling of supporting documents, a practical approach to resolving discrepancies and the ability to explain financial movements to colleagues who rely on the accounts for planning and oversight.

Requirements

• Bring a degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline and three to five years of accounting experience, ideally in banking or financial services.
• Use Excel confidently, demonstrate experience with invoices, payment tracking and accounting reports, and communicate fluently in English and Russian.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile invoices and payments, checking authorization and supporting documentation before transactions move through the accounting workflow.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations for month-end and year-end close, investigating differences rather than carrying unexplained balances forward.
• Contribute to periodic financial statements and variance analysis, supplying dependable information for budgets, forecasts and other financial reviews.
• Reconcile bank and intercompany accounts, maintain relevant controls and support additional analysis in coordination with accounting colleagues.
