Overview
Help ensure that brokerage client-related financial information is complete, consistent and supported by reliable records. This junior finance role concentrates on reconciliation: comparing data, identifying differences and following them through to a documented resolution. It contributes to the wider protection of client assets and funds, where small unexplained discrepancies can undermine confidence in the control process. The work suits someone who enjoys numerical detail and can communicate clearly with the operational teams needed to resolve an issue.
Requirements
- Bring a degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, business or a related discipline, together with strong numerical and organisational skills.
- Communicate effectively in written and spoken English; experience with reconciliation or payment providers is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Prepare client-data reconciliations, checking the accuracy of information and recording differences that require further investigation.
- Work with back-office colleagues to understand discrepancies, obtain supporting details and confirm that corrective actions are reflected in the records.
- Maintain organised bank documentation and track outstanding reconciliation items so that unresolved work remains visible.
- Prepare reports and supporting evidence for internal reporting and regulatory needs, keeping calculations and source records easy to follow.
Conditions
- The arrangement is full-time hybrid work in Nicosia.
