Overview

Build a practical foundation in finance by working closely with the records behind a blockchain security business's reporting. The role emphasizes accuracy in large datasets and careful investigation when balances do not agree. It also provides exposure to close, planning and financial analysis, connecting routine operational work with the information senior colleagues use to understand business performance.

Requirements

• Be a recent graduate or completing a bachelor's or master's degree in finance or a related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.6 and intermediate finance and accounting coursework.
• Use Excel confidently for data manipulation and be proficient with Word and PowerPoint.
• Bring careful analytical habits, clear communication and reliable deadline management; Python or Google Apps Script familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean financial records, checking that ledger and reporting data remain complete, consistent and usable.
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across areas such as bank activity, revenue and cost of goods sold, investigating unexplained differences.
• Prepare journal entries and organize supporting documents for the month-end close, maintaining a clear record of the work completed.
• Assist with financial models, statistical analysis, budgets and forecasts, and explain findings from variance reviews or special projects.
• Support improvements to reporting workflows and explore appropriate automation for repetitive reconciliation tasks.
