Overview

Provide the operational discipline that allows a trading desk to understand its positions and act on reliable information. The role covers trades from booking and verification through reconciliation and profit-and-loss analysis. It also addresses the friction that appears when new products or processes enter a live environment. Effective support means identifying a break quickly, explaining its impact and improving the process that caused it, while keeping the desk informed of risks that require immediate attention.

Requirements

  • Bring at least five years of trading-floor, trade-support, middle-office or product-control experience in financial services or crypto trading.
  • Demonstrate numerical accuracy, financial or quantitative education, practical Python and AI-tool familiarity, and a proactive approach to operational problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Manage trade booking and verification, reconcile balances and positions, and prepare P&L attribution for the desks being supported.
  • Investigate delays, data breaks and other lifecycle problems, coordinating the steps needed to restore accurate operational records.
  • Monitor positions against internal thresholds and escalate material issues, contributing improvements to the desk's monitoring tools.
  • Use coding and AI tools to improve reconciliation procedures and create reusable onboarding playbooks for products, accounts and booking models.

Conditions

  • The arrangement is full-time hybrid work in London.
