Overview
Own the product that helps platform partners and large merchants manage fleets of payment devices. The role focuses on tools and APIs for operating hundreds or thousands of terminals, reducing the manual effort involved as customers expand. It combines product strategy, close partner relationships and direct ownership with a dedicated engineering team.
Requirements
- Candidates need a record of building new products or scaling existing ones, plus experience leading a team of developers.
- A technical background, strong commercial understanding and direct customer engagement are required.
- The role calls for independent judgment and hands-on ownership across product and delivery decisions.
Responsibilities
- Set the roadmap for device fleet management and guide the solution from an initial proof of concept to general availability.
- Work with customers to understand how they order, deploy, configure and customize devices.
- Translate those needs into capabilities that give partners practical control over their fleets.
- Define performance and reliability measures, using them to assess progress and product quality.
- Automate recurring steps across the device lifecycle and resolve operational friction affecting customers or internal teams.
- Represent the product area in senior discussions and coordinate decisions across commercial, technical and operational stakeholders.
