Overview
The engineer supports frontend and backend teams delivering a multi-brand gaming platform. A central priority is moving deployment workflows from Octopus to GitHub Actions while helping developers take ownership of their delivery processes. Monitoring needs to connect useful dashboards and alerts with tracing, logs and service metrics. The remit also includes custom infrastructure and routing components that must cope with increased traffic and more complex needs. Work with infrastructure and operations specialists connects these improvements to the wider cloud environment. Tooling and guidance are part of the role, alongside hands-on changes that improve automation, test coverage, reliability and production visibility.
Requirements
- GitHub Actions, Octopus and deployment-automation experience.
- Prometheus, Grafana and observability expertise.
- NGINX routing and AWS infrastructure knowledge.
- Terraform and Kubernetes cluster-management skills.
- Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar scripting.
- Ability to support .NET and JavaScript/TypeScript delivery workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own pipeline improvements and the deployment-tool migration.
- Build monitoring and correlate service telemetry.
- Extend routing and support custom infrastructure.
- Provide delivery tooling and guidance to engineering teams.
