Overview
Build an analytics function that helps product leaders decide what to change, scale or stop. This executive role combines team leadership with technical judgment, covering metric definitions, instrumentation, experimentation and the operating process through which business questions become reliable answers. It also redesigns recurring analytical work with AI-supported tools, while keeping validation and human review appropriate to the decision. The focus is a dependable analytical system whose output remains traceable as products and customer behaviour evolve.
Requirements
- Demonstrate experience leading product-analytics teams, strong hands-on SQL and data-platform judgment, and a practical understanding of experimentation and causal inference.
- Bring evidence of improving analytics operations through AI, effective executive communication and experience owning a product-analytics platform.
Responsibilities
- Set the priorities and quality standards for product analytics, developing the team and directing capacity toward the most consequential product questions.
- Establish consistent business metrics, dashboards and instrumentation, reviewing data models and pipelines for accuracy and reproducibility.
- Define experiment design and interpretation standards, including hypotheses, success measures, guardrails and post-release evaluation.
- Build reusable analytical workflows and AI tools that improve delivery speed without weakening the controls around important conclusions.
