Overview
The mathematical role turns game ideas into testable probability models. Payouts, volatility, return-to-player settings and exposure limits need to work together, with simulations showing how a game behaves over repeated play. The remit covers a range of random-number-based mechanics, from slots and instant games to crash-style and number products. Close collaboration with design, engineering, QA and compliance connects the model to a production-ready game. After launch, performance analysis can reveal where balancing or mechanics should improve. Clear specifications are also needed for internal teams and certification partners. Mathematical assumptions must be explicit enough for implementation and verification.
Requirements
- Three or more years in game mathematics or a related analytical discipline.
- Strong probability, statistics and casino-mechanics knowledge.
- Commercial Java application experience.
- Experience with analytical programming or simulation tools.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Certified real-money game experience advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Develop probability models, payout structures and simulations.
- Validate distributions, hit frequency, variance and target RTP.
- Document mathematical requirements for engineering and certification.
- Analyse live game results and recommend balancing improvements.
