Overview

Connect AI and cloud spending with financial planning for blockchain-intelligence software and its supporting infrastructure. This role supports research and engineering leaders by explaining where costs are heading, what is causing the change and which actions deserve consideration. It requires building useful models from complex usage and billing data, then turning the analysis into a clear recommendation rather than simply a report.

Requirements

• Bring strategic finance, FP&A, business operations or related experience, typically spanning seven or more years, with scope and impact also considered, and hands-on analysis of usage-based technology costs.
• Demonstrate strong forecasting, scenario and capacity-modeling skills, credible partnership with technical leaders and the ability to explain financial implications clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build economic models that connect infrastructure usage, billing and workload assumptions with forecasts and investment choices.
• Analyze AI and compute spending, identify optimization opportunities and work with technical leaders on decisions about commitments, consolidation or internal development.
• Own R&D planning and capacity models, aligning hiring assumptions, budgets and delivery needs while making emerging risks visible early.
• Develop investment cases and executive reporting, and improve planning workflows through appropriate automation and carefully checked AI-assisted analysis.
