Overview
Decide where a developer platform should invest its marketing resources and build the evidence needed to defend those decisions. The role covers both self-service adoption and the enterprise sales journey, so success depends on understanding how an initial interaction becomes a useful customer relationship. Existing programs provide a starting point; the responsibility is to improve their contribution and identify the next opportunities.
Requirements
- Bring at least eight years in B2B growth or performance marketing for a developer audience, with self-service and enterprise experience.
- Show how you have built funnel measurement, changed channel investment using evidence and managed agencies or tools.
- Understand AI-assisted marketing and communicate tradeoffs clearly across commercial and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Connect acquisition spending, signups, lead quality and sales pipeline into a consistent view of funnel performance.
- Compare the return from paid search, paid social, SEO, answer-engine optimization, lifecycle messaging, the website and ecosystem activity, then adjust resources accordingly.
- Test new channels and product-led signals with Product and Sales, translating promising results into work that specialist owners can execute.
- Evaluate agencies and marketing systems, propose hires where sustained demand warrants them, and present investment choices during planning.
Conditions
- This full-time hybrid role requires three office days each week in San Francisco or New York.
