A confidential digital-asset business is hiring a London-based backend engineer to work on trading services used by internal and external products. The role covers order lifecycle, market data, real-time APIs and production reliability.

Responsibilities
- Build backend services for trading workflows using Kotlin and/or Python.
- Develop order-management, market-data and trade-lifecycle services.
- Maintain REST APIs and WebSocket streams for real-time client data.
- Improve availability, latency, observability and test coverage across trading infrastructure.
Conditions
- Full-time London role with mandatory four-day office presence. Source allows limited work-from-anywhere days but this must not be represented as a general remote role.
- Working schedule: four days per week in the London office.
