Overview

Develop the analytical foundations that make regulatory reporting and financial crime oversight dependable across a payments platform. This senior position connects compliance requirements with data engineering and product knowledge. You will define reporting logic, strengthen validation and give stakeholders a clear basis for trusting the information used in submissions and risk decisions.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject is required, alongside five or more years of SQL work with large datasets and five or more years of risk-management experience or equivalent.
• Scripting in Python, Shell or R and familiarity with tested analytics transformations are required.
• Regulatory reporting, dbt and modern data warehouses are preferred experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate priority reporting obligations into data requirements, calculations, tests and release criteria.
• Work with finance, compliance and engineering to standardize dimensions such as accounts, currencies, products and legal entities.
• Contribute directly to the structure of data models and reporting marts, including how transformations are documented, tested and versioned upstream.
• Design automated checks and manual quality reviews before reports are submitted.
• Investigate anomalies, regulator questions and audit findings to establish their impact and underlying cause.
• Recommend remediation and shape the requirements of a scalable reporting platform.
• Share analytical practices and provide informal guidance to colleagues working on related risk problems.
