Overview
The analyst helps a gaming support operation understand how much capacity it will need and where that capacity should be assigned. Historical demand, available technology and operational knowledge contribute to both short- and long-term forecasts. Plans must account for different channels and skill groups, including the training classes needed to maintain coverage. Close work with scheduling colleagues ensures that changing arrival patterns lead to appropriate adjustments. Collaboration with peers and managers helps resolve planning issues and supports the wider workforce-management team. The role also identifies process improvements and opportunities to strengthen risk controls, turning analytical findings into recommendations that can be understood by operational leaders.
Requirements
- At least one year of forecasting and capacity-planning experience.
- Ability to present findings and training to varied groups.
- Workforce-management software knowledge, including NICE or Verint.
- Knowledge of analytical tools such as SQL, Python, Snowflake and Teradata.
- NICE experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build demand forecasts across multiple locations and channels.
- Plan staffing capacity and required training classes.
- Coordinate forecast changes with the scheduling team.
- Present findings and recommend operational improvements.
