Overview

Build backend data infrastructure used to compute the information behind real-time financial decisions. The role supports a platform through which banks and fintech companies automate credit, risk and related workflows. You will join a small engineering team with responsibility for important systems and the authority to shape their technical design.

Requirements

• Applicants need at least five years of professional engineering experience, including two leading complex work in a senior capacity.
• Deep Python and cloud-backend expertise are required, with strength in data pipelines, event-driven systems, caching or serverless architecture.
• Clear collaboration and system-design judgment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python services on cloud infrastructure, working with serverless functions, databases and event-driven pipelines.
• Address performance, scale and reliability as part of everyday engineering.
• Own the full lifecycle of your systems, from architectural choices and implementation through deployment, monitoring and incident handling.
• Work directly with product and design colleagues to determine useful next capabilities.
• Explain technical tradeoffs and make decisions that support both current production needs and future development.
• Improve tools and engineering processes, review code and help other engineers grow through practical mentoring.
• Use modern AI development tools within the team's workflow where they support effective delivery.

Conditions
