Overview

Turn financial crime policy into procedures that work consistently across payment operations in the European Union, United Kingdom and United States. This leadership role spans anti-money-laundering controls, counter-terrorist financing, sanctions and fraud, with responsibility for connecting policy ownership to measurable operational practice.

Requirements

  • This position suits a financial crime leader with roughly eight to ten or more years of relevant experience and substantial regulated-payments or financial-services exposure.
  • Knowledge of EU, UK and US regimes, experience translating policies into routines, and practical model-governance capability are central.
  • Team design and development may form part of the role as requirements grow.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain procedures as regulations and internal policies evolve, recognizing where jurisdictions require different treatment.
  • Support enterprise and entity risk assessments, and ensure the results influence onboarding and transaction-monitoring controls.
  • Work closely with operational teams so that instructions are clear enough to apply and strong enough to withstand scrutiny.
  • The remit also covers governance throughout the lifecycle of financial crime models.
  • Coordinate testing, validation, documentation, implementation and continuing monitoring, including independent review.
  • Define indicators that show exposure and control effectiveness, prepare reporting for senior management and boards, and organize evidence for examinations, audits and remediation follow-up.

Conditions

  • The position is hybrid in Stockholm.
